Franchising is good for all parties concerned. For you, the franchisee, it lets you be your own independent boss while still having the support and expertise of a huge global network to call on.

For us, the franchisor, it’s a great way of growing quickly while remaining stable, harnessing the great entrepreneurial drive of our franchisees while spreading our best-in-class processes.

This is the technical name for the contract between the two types of legal entities (the franchisee and franchisor, you and us) which make up a franchise system.

The franchisor gives the franchisee the right to use branding, trademarks, processes, logos and technical assistance and commercial advice in exchange for a fee. The franchisee becomes part of a network of affiliates in various territories around the world.

In MBE’s case, that’s a network of several thousand entrepreneurs in more than 40 countries.

After you have signed a franchise agreement, you become a franchisee. A franchise is a legal entity which is part of a network, but legally and financially independent.

Starting any business requires some sort of funding or capital, but it doesn’t need to be investment capital.

Entrepreneurs on the MBE network have gained the funding they need privately, via loans, grants and subsidies as well as through other methods.

We have framework agreements with various banks and financial institutions which we can use on your behalf to get any applications you make the attention they deserve.

Yes. The training we provide is one of the key reasons MBE franchisees choose us and succeed through doing so.

Your initial training will include four weeks of classroom, in-store and field training. The focus will be on business development as well as key aspects of business operation.

Ongoing training sessions will then further develop your knowledge, skills and abilities. These are delivered in-Centre, in classrooms, in workshops and elsewhere by external experts, in-house specialists and numerous regional managers and high-performing franchisees who will share their experience with you.

Yes. If an existing MBE Centre is for sale – for reasons of retirement, for example – then we will work with you to see if this might be a good option for you.
